Play Area Progress Update
We are pleased to share an update on the much-anticipated Play Area Project.
The application to FCC Communities for £100,000 has now been submitted, and we expect to hear the outcome around March next year. In addition, we are delighted to report that the National Lottery Programme has awarded an impressive £140,000, helping to move these important improvements significantly closer to reality.
It is hoped that the first phase of the project, focusing on the new under-fives play area, will begin in the New Year and be completed by March 2026. This phase will be supported by:
£20,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All
£50,000 from the Rural England Prosperity Funding (REPF): West Norfolk
