The B1145 Litcham Road, Rougham will be closed between Rougham Road, Great Massingham and the A1065 Swaffham to Fakenham Road for resurfacing.

This work is set to start on the 9th of January 2019 and is likely to take 13 working days to complete – subject to the weather conditions.

“NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the 1) B1145 Lynn Road from its junction with the A1065 Fakenham Road to its junction with the C236 Rougham Road; and 2) B1145 Litcham Road from its junction with the C236 Rougham Road for a distance of 600 metres eastwards; in the PARISH OF ROUGHAM because of carriageway resurfacing works.

The roads 1) and 2) will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 9th January 2019 to 25th January 2019 for the duration of the works, expected to be 17 days within the period.

The alternative route is via B1145 Litcham Road, B1153 East Walton Road/ Gayton Road, A47, A1065 Castleacre Road, Road from Swaffham To Weasenham All Saints, Fakenham Road

(Pentney/ Gayton/ Swaffham/ Sporle with Palgrave/ South Acre/ Newton By Castle Acre/ Lexham/ East Walton/ Rougham/ Great Massingham).

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.”

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
