The Biodiversity Group have 2 events this summer which might interest you.
The first event is the Biodiversity Open Garden at Mike Jackson’s house:-
The Barn, Kennels Farm, Castle Acre Road on 1st July from 2 pm. Mike’s neighbours Ken & Mima Clarke have kindly agreed to open their garden at the same time which will be an added attraction.
We propose to charge an entrance of £2 (no charge for children) and ask for donations for drinks and cake. There will be plants for sale stall and we will be grateful for any surplus plants which you can donate.

The second event is the Biodiversity Group summer outing is to Gooderstone Water Gardens near Swaffham
gooderstonewatergardens.co.uk/ ) on Friday 6th July, arriving there at about 10.45 for an 11 am start. We will have opening talks from each of the two owners before making our own way around the extensive grounds. Features include a trout stream, ponds, numerous bridges, woodland, flower borders and kingfishers.
There is a tea room serving drinks, sandwiches etc.
Elaine Wingell (01485 520 369) has made the arrangements and will be in touch nearer the time to finalise details.
The cost of entrance will £5-£7 depending on numbers. I hope very much you will be able to attend and help make the day a success.
